Long time, No See! (slash) Life Update

So let me just come right out and say what we all already know......

I AM THE ABSOLUTE WORST BLOGGER EVER!!!!

sorry....

I do have really, really good reasons though. So, first off, I know it's a lame excuse but school has been utterly crazy this semester, and has consumed an enormous amount of time. Also, I just have been out of the blogging mood, ya know? I would say that I'm gonna get back into it, but that might be a lie, so I won't say it. Besides school, my life has basically consisted of hanging out with Chad, and being stressed out beyond belief. The main thing that has me stressed is this:

College.

I'm almost a senior, which is beyond scary, and I feel like I will not even get to enjoy senior year because I will be too concerned with what I will be doing when I become a freshman again. The whole idea of deciding what I wanna do for the rest of my life scares me to pieces...

Naturally I am beyond indecisive, so making a decision on what I want to do with my life is not an easy task for me. Deciding where to go to college is the next biggest thing, and both of these things are right in front of me. I will soon be taking the SAT, becoming a SENIOR, being a senior cheerleader, applying for college, visiting colleges, and planning out the rest of my life. All of these things feel like they are at least 5 years away, but they are really only a few months away....where did my time go?

With deciding on college and life plans, I thought that I had it all figured out. All my life I thought that I was gonna go to a 4 year university, just because I thought that's what you did. But when I thought about the career I thought I wanted, it seemed that I would be going 2 years to a community college. I thought that if I did this though, everyone would look down on me. But today, I was looking around at different college majors and thought to myself, "Maybe I would enjoy something different more....hmmm..."

I had previously thought that I wanted to go into radiology and be a radiography technician, those are the people that work with X-rays and MRIs and stuff of that nature. They make good money, and you don't have to go to school for too long.

However, today, I was on the Meredith College website and thought I would look at their majors. I don't know why I chose to look at this college, it was just the first one that came to mind. One of their majors is fashion merchandising and design. This caught my eye.

I have always been interested in fashion, which might surprise some people, but when I thought about it, there are so many careers that I could go into in this field. I talked to Chad about it, and he said that he thinks that I would really enjoy that, and if I am that excited about it, then it must be right. He told me that I need to do something that I would love, because if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. So, right now I guess I will just see where life is gonna take me, and see what God has in store for me. I look forward to see what he has planned.
